Emma was born and raised in the county of Gloucestershire, surrounded by the timeless beauty and traditions of the Cotswold English countryside. In 2002, she relocated to London to begin her career as a financial adviser in the City, working with a diverse international clientele.
Over the course of seven years, she formed enduring relationships with clients from around the world. As these connections deepened, she noticed a shared thread among many of them—a quiet uncertainty around the unspoken social norms of British culture.
Their questions, stories, and desire to feel more at ease in British society left a lasting impression on her.
Inspired to make a meaningful difference, Emma made the decision to follow a new path. She began her formal training with The English Manner, where she gained her British Etiquette Consultant Certification in 2014.
She went on to represent the organisation in Shanghai, Beijing, and Nanchang, and was honoured to design and deliver a bespoke training programme to the staff of Fendi at their headquarters in Rome.
In 2015, she founded the Emma Dupont Etiquette School in the heart of London—a dedicated space for women to learn, grow, and flourish.
Since then, she's had the privilege of mentoring over 500 women from 48 countries, sharing her knowledge of British etiquette, cross-cultural understanding, and feminine confidence through both in-person and online etiquette courses.
As a member of the Protocol & Diplomacy International – Protocol Officers Association, she remains committed to upholding the highest global standards for certified etiquette consultants.
But more than titles or credentials, it is her deep belief in the transformative power of British etiquette—rooted in kindness, grace, and self-respect—that continues to guide her work each day.
Whether teaching a lady how to navigate her first formal British dinner or helping her rediscover her poise after years of self-doubt, her mission is always the same: to offer elegant, step-by-step guidance that brings clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of belonging.
"I have learnt so much from your courses, it is difficult to put it into words. You have given me the self-confidence I needed to go out into the world of work and be confident.
Luckily, I have your videos to watch over and over again.
But what I value most is your human qualities and how nice and kind you have always been to me."
