These Community Rules form part of the Terms & Conditions of the Emma Dupont Etiquette School and are legally binding on all participants. They are intended to protect the integrity of our courses and communities, ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for every member.
1. Eligibility
The Emma Dupont Etiquette School’s courses and communities are designed exclusively for individuals outside the etiquette industry. This includes, but is not limited to, etiquette trainers, consultants, bloggers, content creators, or anyone sharing etiquette-related content publicly in any form (whether paid or unpaid, professional or hobby-based), or intending to use our materials for purposes beyond personal study.
2. Not Train-the-Trainer or Professional Use
I do not provide Train the Trainer Certification Courses. Any use of my materials for professional or public purposes — including but not limited to teaching, coaching, publishing, blogging, or online content creation — is strictly prohibited and will be considered a violation of intellectual property rights.
3. Misrepresentation at Registration
If it becomes clear that a participant is already working in, or preparing to enter, the etiquette training profession (in any paid or unpaid capacity) when registering for my courses and/or communities, access will be revoked immediately and no refunds will be issued, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
4. Transition into the Profession After Study
Should a member later decide to enter the etiquette training profession following the completion of one of my courses, they will retain full lifetime access to their purchased course recordings and materials; however, access to our private communities, including monthly Q&A sessions, will gracefully conclude at that point.
5. No Direct or Indirect Promotion
This community is not to be used as a platform for promoting your products, courses, groups, or services. This includes indirect promotion such as “ask me how I did it” style posts. Links may only be shared in comments when specifically requested by another member.
6. Be Specific and Stay on Topic
Please ensure all contributions remain relevant to British etiquette, traditions, style, and refinement. Off-topic posts may be removed to preserve the focus and integrity of our discussions.
7. Respectful Conduct
Every member deserves to feel safe and respected. Healthy debate is welcome, but mocking, belittling, unkind, or sarcastic remarks will not be tolerated. Access will be revoked if behaviour is inconsistent with the dignity of this space.
8. No Unsolicited Private Messages
Please do not send private messages to members unless they have explicitly invited you to do so. Where appropriate, provide your details in the comments or invite them to contact you directly.
9. No Videos, Lives, or Watch Parties
Live or pre-recorded videos, including watch parties, may not be shared in this community unless specifically requested by the Emma Dupont Etiquette School as part of a designated challenge or event.
10. No Affiliate Links
Recommending tools or resources you personally enjoy is welcome; however, sharing affiliate links or promoting products/services for profit is strictly prohibited.
11. No Market Research
This community may not be used for market research purposes in connection with your own programmes, products, or services. This includes using insights gained here to create materials related to the school’s courses.
12. Respect for Privacy
Being part of this community requires trust. Copying, screenshotting, or reproducing posts, comments, discussions, or materials outside this group is strictly prohibited.
13. No Sharing of Community Images
Photographs, screenshots, or visual content from this community may not be shared externally under any circumstances.
By joining one of our communities, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Thank you for your understanding and your commitment to keeping our alumnae space one of integrity, encouragement, and refinement. These community rules are to be read in conjunction with our full terms and conditions which govern all courses, services, and communities provided by the Emma Dupont Etiquette School.
